John F Kennedy Conspiracy Theory

Did John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK) get shot by the Soviet? The charismatic forty six year old president, during his second year in term, was assassinated on a November 22, 1963. President John F. Kennedy, father of four (Patrick Bouvier Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy, John F Kennedy Jr, and Arabella Kennedy), was killed as he rode through downtown Dallas, Texas (Goldman). Shocking everyone not just in the United States, but the entire world. Making the world memorized to their television as peopled mourned. Meanwhile, numerous conspiracy theories have established:

1.      Was President John F. Kennedy really assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald?

2.      Did President John F. Kennedy get shot by Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ)?

3.      Or was President John F. Kennedy killed by the Soviet?

Here is a look at some supporting evidence over these three conspiracy theory in regards to JFK’s assassination.

Character Analysis

Who was John F Kennedy? The 35th President was the youngest elected president and the youngest president to die (“John F. Kennedy”). Most people did not know John F. Kennedy as a womanizer or a meth addict internally, so what was he truly like?

Picture a handsome/ youthful muscular man that is 6’0” and 170 pounds, has bright blue eyes, and reddish-brown hair (“John F Kennedy Personality Traits”).  Externally, he was charismatic, confident, self-dependent, and a witty man (DeGregorio). He was a curious man who loved to take a risk (1). He was also the first Catholic president the United States had. That man, JFK, had affairs with an actress, airline stewardesses, strippers, a secrete first marriage, and ladies in the White House. “Including movie goddess Marilyn Monroe.”(“The Sex Life of JFK”). During World War II, he had an affair with Inga Arvad (1). It has been assumed John F. Kennedy turn out to be a womanizer from the tragic events that had taken place in his life. Along the lines of his ruthless relationship with his mother, loss of siblings, and health concerns (1). Also, his father had committed adultery, therefore perhaps he believed he could get away with it as well. He had become a womanizer long before he came into office (1). The President described himself as “an idealist without illusion” (1). Even after he got into office and married his wife, Jacqueline Bouvier, he still continued to have sexual relationships though.

JFK was a very intelligent man. He graduated from Harvard in 1940 (House). To be President, you have to have characteristics of a leader. John F. Kennedy had presented leadership while he served in the Navy, in the presidential office, and at home with his loved ones (1). He was acknowledged as a model father to his children (“The Atlantic”). On the other hand, he “used an arsenal of drugs, including painkillers and stimulants, to treat various medical conditions during his presidency” (JFK Took Many Drugs for Secret Health Problems). John F. Kennedy took up to twelve medications at once sometimes. Health records expose that John F. Kennedy took:

Antibiotics for urinary tract infections

Antihistamines for the purpose of his allergies

Anti-psychotic to treat a severe mood changes

Anti-spasmodics for his colitis

Barbiturates so he could sleep

Codeine

Demerol and methadone to relieve pain, mainly in his back

Gamma globulin for infections

Injections of a blood derivative

Librium and Meprobamate as anxiety relaxer

Ritalin

Steroids for his Addison's disease

Thyroid hormone (1).

Our country was run by a meth addict and womanizer for two years.

How many people knew that at the time though? JFK was such a great leader in office, but did you know he was a womanizer and a meth addict behind closed doors?

Conspiracy Descriptions (Main Idea and Details with Survey Results)

In the assassination of John F. Kennedy, three conspiracy theories were said. One of the theories suggested that he was shot by the Soviet. The second theory proposed Lyndon B. Johnson had someone shoot JFK, so he could become president. Lastly, it has been said that Lee Harvey Oswald killed him.

The initially conspiracy theory proposed that John F. Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald as JFK murderer. “Oswald, was believed to have used a mail-order rifle in order to shoot the president from the sixth story window of the Texas School Book Depository”. (“President Kennedy Is Assassinated") Individuals declared to have witness seeing Lee Harvey Oswald at the Depository that day, considering he worked there (1). It has been said he killed him because of the fact that he was a member of the communist party (Kincaid). Oswald was called back to keep a watch upon the anti-Castro Cubans by Hoover, and he would be involved with the CIA operation to kill Castro (1). Of course, Oswald was an informer and actually tipped off the Chicago authorities about the plot to kill John F. Kennedy there. The same day as Kennedy’s assassination Oswald was confronted by a police officer, Officer J. D. Tippit, matching the description of John F. Kennedy killer. Oswald shot and killed Officer J. D. Tippit for confronting him on being JFK suspect killer. Oswald was found nearly an hour after the shooting with the revolver that matched the bullet of the one that killed the officer (“Accused JFK Assassin Is Arrested, Then Gunned down."). Shortly after the First Lady and Officer’s J. D. Tippit’s wife exchanged letters over their devastating losses. Seven months prior to Kennedy’s death Oswald was also association to the murder of Edwin Walker, who he had been surreptitiously stalking ("FRONTLINE.").

The second conspiracy suggests that John F. Kennedy was assassinated by someone employed through Lyndon B. Johnson so he could take over presidency. Lyndon B. Johnson was vice president at the time with a smaller amount of power. Lyndon B. Johnson was a political rival of John F. Kennedy (“LBJ Killed JFK”). “After tomorrow those godd–n Kennedys will never embarrass me again. That’s not a threat. That’s a promise.” (“Did LBJ Kill JFK?”) It has been understood that Lyndon B. Johnson said this to his mistress, Madeleine Brown, on the evening before John F. Kennedy’s assassination (1). Presidential motorcade pulled into Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas at the time of Vice President Johnson’s car made a turn on Elm St. into Dealey Plaza. Before the first gunshot was fired, Lyndon B. Johnson had ducked onto the bottom of his vehicle (1). Correspondingly, Lyndon B. Johnson’s hit man, Malcom Wallace, fingerprints were discovered on top of a cardboard box on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository (1). Right after the assassination of JFK, Lyndon B. Johnson started influencing individuals that the Russian government was to be held responsible for Kennedy’s passing (1). Out of twenty-one people surveyed, eighteen disagreed that Lyndon B Johnson was the assassin of John F. Kennedy.

The last conspiracy theory points to the Soviet. During the Arms Race in Vienna, Australia of June 1961, Kennedy met with Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev (“The Cold War”). Khrushchev remained testing nuclear weapons, while threatened to disconnect Allied connection to Berlin, and ordered the manufacture of the Berlin Wall to keep the East and West German’s separated (1). During the Cuban Missile Crisis John F. Kennedy said “It shall be the policy of this nation, to regard any nuclear missile launched from Cuba against any nation in the Western Hemisphere as an attack by the Soviet Union on the United States, requiring a full retaliatory response upon the Soviet Union.”. (JFK Forgotten Crisis) The Cuban Missile Crisis is what caused the most hazardous encounter in the Cold War competitiveness amongst the United States and the Soviet Union. Shortly before JFK assassination, Castro chose an alliance with the Soviet Union leading up to the conclusion that Castro and the Soviet Union killed JFK (NBC). Lee Harvey Oswald was also a part of the Soviet Union between the years 1959-1962 and has been known as a secret agent for the soviet since (1). Lee Harvey Oswald had just come back from visiting the Cuban and Soviet in earlier October (1).

On a Gallup survey, several conspiracies were tested over John F. Kennedy’s death. The outcomes were out of a 100% each time. 77% of individuals believe the Soviet Union had something to do with it (“Americans: Kennedy Assassination a Conspiracy”).  Next, out of a 100%, 75% of people believed Lyndon B. Johnson was involved in Kennedy’s murder (1). It has been said that three-quarters of America believes more than one person was involved in Kennedy’s assassination (1). The Kennedy household is still searching for answers at the moment, about who is responsible of the death of President John F. Kennedy.

Conclusion

John F. Kennedy remains as one of the largest mysteries assassinations in the United States, since November 22, 1963 during his second term as president. The forty six year old president, disappearance established into three conspiracy theories:

1.         Was President John F. Kennedy really assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald?

2.         Did President John F. Kennedy get shot by Lyndon Johnson?

3.         Or was President John F. Kennedy killed by the Soviet?

Even today, the 6’0” and 170 pounds, handsome, bright blue eyes, reddish-brown hair, muscular, and charming president, continues to confuse family and friends. (“John F Kennedy Personality Traits”). In spite of the fact that the majority of evidence point towards Lee Harvey Oswald as his killer, the mystery remains unsolved fifty three years later.
